Some further personal notes...
· I am an engineer/s&m/IT (wherever they need me this week company bitch) guy for a Wireless telecom contractor company.
· The best way to find out about my beliefs and me is to go through THIS memories section. Yeah, it is mostly surveys, but I only take the more original ones and they are truly the best way to get to know the person that I am.
· I am a moderate liberal (my social tendencies fall into heavily liberal, but I am pro death penalty and anti Welfare and anti gun control and such, so I can’t be a total bleeding heart liberal). I call myself independent; though I swing mostly to Libertarian/Green/Democrat as far as straight up political party affiliation goes. I have a strong dislike for conservative/religious (i.e. most "Republican" or "Christian") politics and the fanatics thereof.

· Don’t ever complain about me not LJ-cutting an entry. I cut what’s not important or what I think is to long, and leave other entries whole. Bitch to me about it and all I’ll do is tell you just what finger you can go and use to scroll through it.
· In addition to my own I frequent several of my friend's friends pages when my days are slow, so if I make a comment to you or take a poll of yours and you’re here to check me out because you want to see how I found you, you know how that happened.
· I don’t play the friends = numbers game. Add backs are not necessary if I added you as a friend, as I usually add a person because I’m interested in reading them. Though, these days I only add about 1 person every 2 or 3 months to my friends list first and I most likely have either read you for a long time already, or seriously back tracked your journal entries before I added you. Basically, for me to add someone first these days is not common and I’ve thought it through, so do with that information what you will when considering reading me.
· I moderate the ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) darksideofebay community. (mostly, it just runs itself – the kids usually play nice in the sandbox)
· I co-moderate the atheist community.
Please realize that at my age I have already pretty much made the decisions about how I want to live my life. I’ve been around, heard the rhetoric, read the books and articles, and seen the TV shows. You are very much wasting your time if you've come here or added me to your friend's list to try to sell me on a different way to live my life and what to believe. I’ve explored the all the options, and I’m happy with what I am and secure in what I believe.
I reserve the right to change my own mind.
But note that I said "I" and "my own". No where in that did I say "you". While you may think my beliefs and opinions don’t amount to much of a Hill of BeansTM, this is MY HILLTM and, dammit, these are MY BEANSTM! Ragging, harsh criticism, and outright attacks against me and my beliefs will get your dumb ass a one way ticket to LJ banning-ville.
